My Family's Special Juicy Chicken Karaage
2 Chicken thigh meat
2 tbsp ★ Soy sauce
1 tbsp ★ Sake
1 tsp ★ Grated ginger
1 dash ★ Grated garlic
1 ★ Salt and Pepper
3 tbsp Plain flour
2 tbsp Katakuriko
Cut the chicken into bite-sized pieces.
In a large bowl, combine the ★ and chicken. I like adding more salt and pepper for the taste.
Add beaten eggs and mix well. Marinate for about 15 minutes.
Discard the excess marinade.
Add flour, katakuriko and mix well.
Heat oil to 350°F (170℃) and fry the chicken for about 4 minutes.
Wash the mint and coriander leaves thoroughly and chop them finely. Mix them with ginger, garlic yoghurt, turmeric powder, green chillis, coriander powder and lemon juice. Make well into a paste and marinate the chicken in this mixture for at least 1 hour (maximum 4 hours). Mint Chicken Korma
